SG1 question

I just had a long phone conversation with C wherein we discussed the things the Stargate franchise does with clones and androids and AU-versions and Alternate-timeline-versions and doubling in general. All of which boil down to 'I love this franchise!' and also to me being completely thematically obsessed with Jack's clone.

Quick! When you imagine Jack and Daniel (let's go with a Jack and Daniel who are not sleeping together, or at least not yet) having a fight- a huge, vicious, knock-down-drag-out fight over something *between* "Need" and "Menace" (that is, not counting either of those), what is it? I mean, what utterly terrible thing did they do/say to each other in an episode, or in a missing scene, or what would one of them have been horribly offended by, in that four-season span?

Why, yes, I am trying to write something here. I have 4/5 of a vaguely "five things" inspired Jack/Daniel thing, and I need help.

Speaking of which, does anyone want to do a super-fast run-through of what I have? Character death warning, 3700 words.

Don't mind me randomly scrolling around Stargate journals here but...

* "Past and Present" with Daniel insisting they should give Linea another chance?

* "Shades of Grey" is a pretty obvious one (when I came into fandom someone told me that she thinks everyone has to write at least one fic dealing with that episode) with Daniel saying he never trusted Jack and Jack lying to them and everything.

* "The Other Side" with Jack essentially yelling at Daniel to shut up?

* "Scorched Earth" with Jack refusing to listen to Daniel's other ideas and nearly killing him.

* "Beast of Burden" - Daniel's insistence on helping the Unas getting them jailed and tortured.

I thought about past and present, but it was too close to Sha're's death, too explicitly about sex. And Shades of Grey seemed too cliched. And Scorched Earth seemed too late. But The Other Side- I didn't think of that, and it's PERFECT! *nod*

The Other Side: However you view their relationship, it's tension-filled at this point and, damn it, Daniel is HURT.
Beneath the Surface: They come to blows while mind-stamped. There's a lot of subtle tension going on in that ep, fisticuffs notwithstanding.
Scorched Earth: Jack is hugely angry with Daniel; I predict trouble!
Taken together, right up to Menace, there's plenty of starting points for a big knock-down scene.
I wait the resultant fic with some impatience. ;-))
