the night has a thousand saxaphones

I have SO MUCH to say today. My natural verbosity sometimes makes me feel ridiculous. So first, some links!

First, dodger_winslow  has a very good post on why we all need to stop freaking out about that announcement that Reaper will take Supernatural's timeslot.

Second, this is, bar nothing, the funniest thing I have seen online in weeks. BWAH!

Third, I have been watching much due South (thanks miriad!). I am getting quite attached to the themesong, in that I find myself humming high winds, northern skies will carry you away... at random intervals. I find it perfect for the show, and catchy, and pretty, and kind of... soothing. Don't laugh. Also, I think Ray is a sad, sweet-in-his-way, under-appreciated character. Also, I love Paul Gross. Also, several times Frasier consults his dad's journal for help on a case, which just cracks my SPN-fan self right up. Also, I just hit the episode where Frasier halucinates his father and there's some hilarious three-way dialog between Frasier, Bob Frasier, and Ray, and it gave me such MASSIVE Slings&Arrows flashbacks that I could hardly contain my squee. "Also, is there any history of insanity in our family?" "Well, your uncle Tiberius died wrapped in cabbage leaves, but we think that was a freak accident." Oh bizarre show I love you so much never change!

Finally, Jared is adorable at Fangoria. A Big Spoiler came out there, which janissa11  talks about here, spawning a good discussion. I think her post is insightful and well-thought-out, I just happen to disagree with it completely. I started to write a response, and then it stopped fitting in the comment box, and now it's a whole META OF DOOM which I will post soon.
