regala_electra. It's a Sam/Dean fusion with The Time Traveller's Wife- short, simple, beautiful, gorgeously subtle, and just generally one of those fics that you didn't know NEEDED to be written until someone went and wrote it.
The swing dance group turned me down, but it was one of those "we like you a lot, you just aren't ready" things and I was very proud of what I did and it was all in all a wonderfully positive experience, for being my first ever audition for anything.
For the last two months, I have been waking up at about 10 in the morning on average. Last night I was dancing until 12, then got wired and couldn't sleep until 2. Then I had to be at work at a brand-new temp job at an ungodly hour of the morning which required me setting my alarm for 6. Yes.
The thing is, I had a REALLY bad hair day today, and couldn't figure out why, until I realized it's because I didn't actually wash my hair this morning. I rolled out of bed at six, got in the shower, promptly fell asleep again (I am really good at falling asleep in the shower), thought "I need caffiene," got out of the shower, got caffienated, and then did my post-shower routine. But no showering actually happened. Heh.
I have also been known to wake up suddenly in the shower with no memory of whether I have yet washed my hair, for example. Also, I once woke up in the morning, got up, and showered, only to discover that my towel was soaking wet because that was my second shower that morning.
I do really, really, really badly before 7 am.
