I hereby retract, take back, and humbly apologize for every bad, condescending, critical, or less-than-glowing thing I have ever said, written, or thought about Glee.
That's where I am. Everything else is hit or miss, but Kurt is one of my favorite characters of all time.
And I changed my mind the minute Kurt did a song from Victor Victoria. Have you seen that movie? I absolutely adore it. It just... was a genuinely really good episode- I mean, the bits with Rachel were annoying, naturally, but nearly all the other kids in the cast who I care about were getting at least something good to do (Artie! Brittany! And Tina and Mike Chang! And Mercedes and Santana! And Quinn!) and there was a new character who was just great, and then... and then.... and then Kurt stood up and sang a number that was last done in one of my favorite movies by Julie Andrews in drag.
I knew that I loved Kurt and I knew that I would watch because of Kurt, even if other storylines were crap. But for me, it was when he sang "I Want To Hold Your Hand" and he made me cry that I knew I would love Kurt until the day I died. That is one of my favorite songs by my favorite band of all time and he made it one of the saddest, sweetest songs ever and I just fell forever.
I, too, am only human. :) I'm glad I'm not alone. And honestly, for all the faults of the show, they have gotten a few things so incredibly right that I just can't seem to shake it.

I'm only human, basically.
