What's that they say about three things?

1: Go Log Cabin Republicans!
2: Was delayed 15 minutes today because my subway entrance was roped off to film a scene of Gossip Girl. Got to see somebody putatively famous, with very shiny hair, walk up a set of stairs and check her phone in dismay about seven times in a row. (I assume this hardly counts as a spoiler?)
Possibly I live in New York.
3: I have missed swing dancing. Easy to forget just how fun it is.

Date: 2010-09-10 02:55 pm (UTC)Do you already dance? If not, they do beginner lessons late Wednesday nights. I can catch you up no problem- seriously, it's great fun, and I've been doing it long enough to at least get you basic six count and a couple turns.
I haven't established when any intermediate/advanced lessons are yet- schedule seems a bit up in air. They also hold a local (115th and Broadway) thing on tuesdays (which I probably won't be able to go to) and they go to midtown every Thursday. The Thursday night thing is absolutely *fantastic*, it turns out. Good crowd, good floor, good music, lots of students, not too terrible of a gender ratio. Fun for all levels.
