But it makes so much sense. I mean, he's lived his whole life in a world where evil is very much present and accounted for- he's SEEN it- but he's never had one scrap of evidence or even any very compelling argument for any actual force of good.
And WE, watching, know that that's because Good allows free will and relies on the choices of humans, and we know that Dean doesn't see the force for good because HE IS the force for good, and I kink on that SO HARD
