I can never get enough fic on the subject of covering/outing their relationship. I love how you've portrayed Jack's balancing act as he considers who has to be hurt, and by what degree, knowing what they can endure. But it's what he does for a living, and he's good at it, doing some his best work under pressure -- even if it's at his own front door.
