This show has really put together a sort of messed-up picture of Buddhist ideas

I totally agree with your idea about messed up Buddhism, and specifically (

) what they did with Oma Desala.
I also thought the Ascension stuff was Buddhist but then I looked at it through comparative mythology and psychology glasses I realised it was something completely different. I wrote a big long meta on it
