Recs! Because I've been reading so much good stuff, and some of it is even fit for pubic acknowledgment.
Why in the world won't my lj-cut tags work properly?

The most cracktastic SPN fic I've read in forever. The Winchesters meet Billy Goats Gruff. Or something. Don't try to make it make too much sense, just read it. Now. Seriously. Here, if you need some convincing, try a quote:
"There was the oldest Winchester, who had a God complex, the middlest Winchester, who had a Christ complex, and the youngest Winchester, who had a Judas complex."
There, doesn't that make you want to read it? I thought so.

Remember the Kings Cross Station afterlife? This is a take on that, dealing with dead characters. It is sad, and moving, and resigned and sympathetic and beautiful and... yes. Not quite a crossover, but some familiarity with Terry Pratchett's Discworld is helpful.
Do you remember how touched and incredibly sad I was about George? How I wanted fics about him living the rest of his life as half a person?

"He didn’t tell them, any of them, that he talked to his brother still, alone in the workshop, away where no-one could hear. . . Sometimes he wondered if the ear he’d lost was listening to the brother he’d lost talking back."
That is from the second installment, Mischief Managed. Oh, George.
Lastly, you remember how I wanted sweet awkward teenage-first-time Ron/Hermione fic? Fandom provides!

Which uses exactly that moment in Deathly Hallows that I found so wonderful- them on the floor in Grimmauld Place, falling asleep holding hands.
Hard R/NC-17 for the sex. But very sweet. Also rather funny.

Set during book sixish, not during Deathly Hallows, but Femmenerd writes the best awkward sweet first time teenage fic ever.
R... er. Maybe NC-17. I have a hard time rating sex fic as NC-17 when it's this... SWEET. And schmoopy.
