So because of Torchwood and my con I am like four days behind the rest on fandom so I didn't watch SPN 3x11 until just now and
*FLAIL* OH MY GOD HOLY SHIT THIS SHOW MY SHOW OH GOD MY SHOW *FLAIL*
This is coming after last week's episode, which I declared "better than perfect" and this week was better than that and it was the perfect combination of everything I love about the show in perfect proportions and
Fuck it, I can't be rational or coherent or *FLAIL* JOY JOY HAPPY FLAILY JOY
1. You know, Jared sure has grown as an actor since Gilmore Girls. 3 years ago, watching him try to do this would have been painful. Now, he knocks it out of the park. Good on you, Jared. Keep growing. I admire that a lot.
2. HOW MUCH do I want to see the gag-reel from that "talking in unison" scene? I'll bet they had SO MUCH FUN with that.
3. Everybody already said everything and all the codas are heartbreaking and Jensen was dorktastically adorable and everything was SO PERFECT and the emoporn was SO EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED and.. okay, flailing again.
4. I like the Trickster a lot. Do you remember Q? Q was one of my favorite parts of Star Trek. The Q/Picard dynamic (okay, now that I've typed that I just realized I would have completely shipped Q/Picard if I'd been just a bit older at the time) was just one of my favorite things ever, and I love the idea of the Trickster getting into that same kind of dynamic with the boys- his own motivations are somewhere between godly ineffable and "bored two year old poking a toy for entertainment," who finds out that he can poke the Winchesters in interesting ways and then ends up sort of... attached to them, like you get attached to a puppy dog that does cute things, and then they eventually realize he isn't so much an enemy as a bored omnipotent two year old and then they slowly get into that Q/Picard dynamic. I really sort of want that now. Anyway, I think that's why I liked the trickster so much.
THERE ARE NO WORDS SUFFICIENT FOR THE EXTENT OF MY FLAILY JOY
