Meme randomness

I missed the deadline to offer beta-reading at Sweet Charity. *feels bad* I'm definitely going to buy, though.
Random: "Gonna Raise Hell" by Cheap Trick just came up on shuffle. I REALLY REALLY want this song on SPN. You know those pre-battle montages you get in movies? Just imagine that- low, thrumming, slowly building, "gonna raise hell" as Sam and Dean dress and clean their knives and check their guns and load the trunk and bless the holy water and draw the devil's traps, tension building up for the final showdown... if I was a vidder, I'd vid it.
Ooh! I could buy a Sweet Charity Ho to do it for me! *ponders*

Back in the Day: 5 TV Shows You Loved As A Kid
"Kid" is so vague. Let's go with the very first 5 shows I remember anxiously watching the clock for.
1. Gummi Bears (they were SO superior to Care Bears in every way)
2. My Little Ponies (my first fandom. SHUT UP. I was six)
3. Wisbone (y'know, classic literature as done by a little white dog? Oh, shut up.)
4. M*A*S*H
5. Star Trek: The Next Generation
Who Would You Do?: 5 TV Characters You Would...Well, It's Self-Explanatory
Oh, this list could be so very long...
1. Dean Winchester (Supernatural)
2. Simon Tam (Firefly)
3. Sam Seaborne (West Wing)
4. Jeffery whats-his-name (Sprots Night)
5. Geoffrey Tenant (Slings&Arrows)
Oh God, I filled all my slots already? Many, MANY more characters missed by just *this* much. Also, if I had done these in a different order we would have ended up with Sam Winchester AND Dean Forrester on the same list, which would have been embarrassing.
What? No, No, I Don't Watch That...: 5 Guilty Pleasure TV Shows
I don't really do guilty pleasure TV. I'll try to come up with some, but most of these I have watched three or fewer episodes of.
1. Friends
2. American Gladiators
3. Dancing with the Stars
4. The Amazing Race
5. Junkyard Wars
Wow: 5 TV Moments You Still Remember (And Probably Won't Forget)
Okay, the Devil's Trap semi-smash is OF COURSE my first thought here, but every single person I've seen do this meme has included it. So, instead of "ohmygod cliffhanger howcouldtheydothat ishereallydead" shocking moments, let's go with powerful moments.
1. Dean cradling Sam's dead body as the camera pans out to make them look so small (SPN).
2. Henry Blake's chopper goes down (M*A*S*H)
3. Jed Barlett walks through the cathedral smoking and berating God in Latin (West Wing)- don't laugh, I still think this is one of the most powerful moments on TV of all time.
4. Vorenus jumps into the arena to defend Pullo (Rome)
5. Charles, playing Lear, carries the body of Cordelia down the isle crying "Howl, Howl, Howl." (Slings&Arrows) <- okay, seeing as how it was scripted by Shakespeare, this isn't exactly a plot twist. But it's the emotional climax of the greatest season of the greatest show of all time, and the first time I saw it I spent the next thirty minutes helpless on my couch shaking like a leaf. So, y'know.
But note that if I WAS doing cliffhangers here, Borg!Picard would top the list.
"Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs": 5 TV Theme Songs You Know (and Love) By Heart
I do not get the "Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs" reference. Am I a bad fan?
1. Firefly (Can't Take the Sky from Me)
2. Slings&Arrows (Cheer Up, Hamlet)
3. M*A*S*H (Suicide is Painless)
4. Gilmore Girls (Where You Lead)
5. I want to say "Carry On My Wayward Son" here, because it COMPLETELY is the SPN theme song for me and I adore it. But instead I'll say Monk (It's a Jungle Out There)
Eh: 5 Shows You Just Can't Get Into
1. DS9. Gonna make another try, though.
2. Doctor Who
3. The Sopranos
4. Lost
5. 24
The Starting Line-Up: 5 Channels You Go To First When You Sit Down to Watch TV
I am a Bad Pirate who doesn't watch anything on TV channels.
This Is An Environment of Welcoming, and You Should Just Get the Hell Out Of Here: 5 TV Characters You Could Do Without
1. Ruby (SPN) great potential not fulfilled in the writing. And badly cast.
2. Nikki (Heroes) I DONT CARE. I NEVER CARED.
3. Seven of Nine (Voyager)
4. Tristan (Gilmore Girls) and Logan, too, for that matter.
5. Frank Burns (M*A*S*H)
That's What She Said: 5 Quotes That Still Resonate
I could not possibly pick a top five here. There are the funny ones, the shippy ones, the powerful ones, the memorable ones... *hands* I could go all day and not be done. So these will be different every time you ask me.
1. "I may have fucked my life up flatter than hammered shit, but I stand here before you today beholden to no human cocksucker!" -Ellsworth, Deadwood
2. "We have done the impossible, and that makes us mighty." -Mal, Firefly
3. "Leo's made of leather, his face has a map of the world on it. Leo comes back" -Jed, West Wing (RIP John Spencer)
4. "He had you and he blew it. You've gotta trust us. Fit in on your own time, when you come to
work for me you show up to play." -Isaac, Sports Night
5. "It's not my life, never will be... Anyway, a guy in my situation, you start to think, you know, I'm gonna be gone one day, and what am I leaving behind besides a car?" -Dean, Supernatural
Gimme More: 5 Shows You Can Never Get Enough Of
1. Slings&Arrows
2. Supernatural
3. Firefly
4. Sports Night
5. Rome
Waaaaa!: 5 Shows You Still Mourn Losing Prematurely
1. Deadwood
2. Sports Night
3. Firefly
4. Journeyman
5. Eyes- The funniest detective show ever made, and the only show to ever beat Firefly for senseless murder-by-network.
Headdesk!: 5 Shows You Wish They'd Killed (or at least ended) While They Were Still Good
1. The West Wing
2. Gilmore Girls
3. ST: Voyager
4. Prison Break
5. Battlestar Galactica (the new one)
Hee. That was fun.
