That's actually better than what happened to me the other day: I went to the Hallmark store to buy Hanukkah candles, and the check-out lady handed me my receipt and the little bag, and said, "Merry Christmas!"
*facepalm*
But actually, I'm really enjoying the holiday season too, in part because it's fun watching other people enjoy it so much. Thanks for the Hanukkah wishes!
