2: Was delayed 15 minutes today because my subway entrance was roped off to film a scene of Gossip Girl. Got to see somebody putatively famous, with very shiny hair, walk up a set of stairs and check her phone in dismay about seven times in a row. (I assume this hardly counts as a spoiler?)

Possibly I live in New York.

3: I have missed swing dancing. Easy to forget just how fun it is.

There's an undergrad club! If you wanted swing dancing, surely you know to check for an undergrad club?

Do you already dance? If not, they do beginner lessons late Wednesday nights. I can catch you up no problem- seriously, it's great fun, and I've been doing it long enough to at least get you basic six count and a couple turns.

I haven't established when any intermediate/advanced lessons are yet- schedule seems a bit up in air. They also hold a local (115th and Broadway) thing on tuesdays (which I probably won't be able to go to) and they go to midtown every Thursday. The Thursday night thing is absolutely *fantastic*, it turns out. Good crowd, good floor, good music, lots of students, not too terrible of a gender ratio. Fun for all levels.
