I'm going to comic-con!

I just bought my comic-con pass! Hell- I figure if the financial apocalypse comes crashing down on me and I can't go, I'll only be out $75. And those suckers are selling out fast. I'll be stunned if there are any four-day tickets left next week.

ETA: This is my new favorite poem.

I've never been to a con, but it sounds like so much fun if you, you know, aren't freaked out by crowds of strangers.

Yeah, that would be a catch. But I'm introverted, not phobic, so I manage. It is a total blast, and obviously better if you know people there.
