Warning: Extreme Silly Grin Inducing!

You guys! You guys, I have no idea who this guy is or what the hell this video is, but. But.

I feel like the Grinch on Christmas morning. My heart just grew three sizes, swear to god. (via [livejournal.com profile] cormallen)

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, by Ken Kesey.

Book club book for March. I *handwave* have nothing to say. One the one hand, it was obviously very good, by which I mean competently written and well put together and exhibiting a certain flair during the more surreal and symbolic bits and trying to say something interesting. On the other hand, it was 300 solid pages of castration anxiety including a paragraph about how society is doomed when men are no longer able to wield the power of rape. One the third hand, the sheer audacity of putting one's hypersexualized Christ-figure protagonist in Moby Dick boxer shorts makes me giggle like mad, because I am twelve. Possibly the problem is that I am just thoroughly burned out on Christ figures in literature, after too much mediocre fantasy?
