Interesting that we both get there from pretty opposite directions- because I am not really a romantic at all, or at least in fiction but not about real life so much, and for me this is ALL political. Deeply personal and emotional, yes, but completely about the politics of it and not the romance. (oh, my raised-religious BAGGAGE) But we end up in EXACTLY the same place.
