Exactly! Well, I was expecting the floppy hair and snark, I'd gotten that from fanon. But I was expecting... somebody... bigger. You know. Larger than life, more obviously central, just generally bigger and more obvious. I'm actually kind of glad that he's not, he'll probably be a better character in the long run this way. I just have to, you know, start with canon!John and not skip steps.
