I have no opinion on John/Rodney (beside, "ew, Rodney.")
1a. YES. Some posted yesterday, and a bunch of people I like and respect responded in the affermative about being furious and wanting Bela to die now and how horrid she is and how they can NEVER EVER like her. And had to sit on my hands from flailing in sheer, giddy, "I love amoral bitches who are pathologically incapable of caring about anyone besides themselves" glee. That said, she's probably helping Lilith some stupid reason and we will be disappointed.
3a. I'm holding out for Lilith-possessing-Nancy-and-fucking-Henricksen porn. But that's only because there wasn't any Dean/Victor.
4a. Oh, I laughed at that, because there's no way Henricksen's profilers DIDN'T talk to him about that one. And the fact that he gets that little dig in... it was perfect.
1b. My major problem with dodger's reading of that line is that she's referring to it as a "joke set up" which in a meta way it was, but in-show, it was Henricksen being totally shaken up, an I read it as Dean's (admittedly crass) way of saying "wake up. Focus." After all, the deputy really WAS right there.
2b. I'm having issues, but... mrrgh. I said during Malleus Mallificarum" that Show really only has two women-- the Victim and the Demon and people protested, but I think this episode just really brought it home.
4b. D: HENRICKSEN. I REFUSE TO BELIEVE HE'S DEAD UNTIL I SEE A BODY. (Seriously, though, my first reaction to learning of his death was "they killed the black guy again?")
