I don't know- the movie versions always leave stuff out. And if the movie version leaves out ANY of the two hundred straight pages of baby-longing? I'm gonna consider it an improvement. And if they leave out the scene of our supposedly sympathetic heroine screaming that adopted babies are FAKE? Imma give 'em a medal.
